The Boonshoft Museum invites families to explore hands-on STEM activities, interact with partners and Museum professionals, and more at a FREE day of science and fun. In addition to the complete Museum experience, guests can also explore the STEMM Expo (closes at 3:00 p.m.) in the Main Exhibit Hall! Museum educators and representatives from 20+ community partners will offer a day of fun, STEM immersion, family interaction, and one-of-a-kind Museum programming.
Highlights of the 2017 Festival include:
2017 STEMM Expo community partners include: DP&L, Wright State Engineers Without Borders, CSafe Global, University of Dayton Engineering Wellness Through Biomechanics Lab, ThinkTV, MedVet, and many more. Each of these community partners will host a display in the Main Exhibit Hall, Main Lobby, or Education Lobby to show off real-world STEM and science careers.
NEW for 2017! Additional parking will be available at Howell Field, located at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and DeWeese Parkway. A courtesy shuttle provided by the Greater Dayton RTA will run every 15 minutes.
