Evening of Astronomy: Juno to Jupiter

The Caryl D. Philips Space Theater

The spacecraft Juno, launched in August 2011, began its orbit around Jupiter on July 4, 2016. Learn more about the discoveries that have been made in the past year about the largest planet in the Solar System, examine Juno images of Jupiter, and consider some of the goals of the field planetary core.

Admission to Evening of Astronomy programs is FREE. If available, live night sky viewing will be available throughout the evening.
