Summer Discovery Camps
|
Spend your summer on an adventure with the experienced staff at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, SunWatch and Fort Ancient. Building, thinking, experimenting and creating are the basis for activity-packed classes designed to nurture creativity, teamwork and kids' interest in science, culture and nature.

Choose from a variety of classes that offer unique science experiences, fun activities, exciting experiments and many opportunities to build self-esteem and healthy risk-taking through individual attention, group interaction, personal success, and physical activity. Each camper will receive an official printed Boonshoft Discovery Camp T-shirt.

(Fourth - Eigth Grade)
Put on your archaeologist hat and uncover the mysteries of ancient burial mounds and artifacts, fossils and forests. Listen to the sounds of a native flute player, learn the fine art of spear throwing, or dress in 18th century regalia for frontier fun. Bring the past to life this summer at Fort Ancient. Cost is $50.00 per student.
