* The Universe Today – Various and changing topics from the past, present, and future of space exploration will be examined. With a focus on things happening right now, this show will keep you up to date on what’s happening “out there.” From our home planet to the farthest quasar, get a glimpse of the universe in our newest live planetarium show. General audience, ages 10 and up.

* The Sky Tonight – A live show answers the question "If I were to go out tonight what will I see if it is clear?" Planets, the Moon, bright stars, major constellations, wonderful special effects and current astronomical events are featured. General audience of all ages.

* Larry Cat in Space – This is a playful presentation of an inquisitive cat that takes a trip to the Moon. Larry gives us a “cats-eye-view” of the Moon, backyard astronomy, space travel, and what it takes to live on another body in space. General audience, especially young children.

** Lasers in the New Year – Celebrate the New Year with Celebration by a medley of artists, Jump, Jive, and Wail, Don’t Stop by Fleetwood Mac, and Dreams by Van Halen. These great melodies are played to laser lights and Digistar special effects. General audience of all ages.

** Digital Amusement Park Special FX Show – In this internationally award-winning special effects show you will experience virtual reality type amusement park rides including a ferris wheel, scrambler, and several roller coasters. General audiences of all ages.

Astronomy, Lasers, and Observing
January 20th, 2012
7:00 Eyes (and Hands) on the Universe Tonight Join us for an exciting evening rich with family astronomy activities. Bring in your telescope and receive assistance on operating it from the experienced amateur astronomers of the MVAS (Miami Valley Astronomical Society). Members of AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) will also be present to guide families through many interactive experiences such as determining your weight on other planets and launching straw rockets. FREE
8:30 What’s Up? If I were to go out tonight what will I see if it is clear? Featured are planets, the Moon, bright stars, major constellations, wonderful special effects & current astronomical events. – FREE
