The Museum is creatively arranged and offers a safe, clean environment where you can relax, have fun and learn something new each time you visit.

Ample signage and easy-to-follow, hands on activities make the Boonshoft Museum a wonderful learning experience for your students.

From September through May, children can meet once a week afterschool for science fun and excitement!  With groups for Grades K-3 and 4-8, parents can know that their children are having fun and getting a head start in their education.

The Preschool at the Boonshoft offers a challenging Montessori-based program for children ages 3 to 6.  Featuring the enhanced opportunities of a private, supportive classroom environment, The Preschool utilizes the entire Museum as an extended laboratory equipped with the tools needed to create a strong foundation for future learning.

Join the adventure at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery! Spend time each week learning, experimenting, discovering, and creating with our education staff at the Museum. 

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s next birthday while fostering his/her interest in science and the natural world. Ninety minute parties are available for children ages 2-12. Each party includes one interactive, hands-on program.
