Each day the staff of the Boonshoft Museum conducts and presents special programs to enhance your visit. Hands-on science experiments, otter feedings, Planetarium shows, bat chats, story times and visits with live animals are just a few of the activities you can add to your list of things to do and see.

The Museum hosts dozens of special events each year; some to celebrate special occasions, such as the Kids New Year’s Eve Party and Howl-o-Ween, and others just for the fun of it, like ShamROCK and Winter Party with the Animals. The Education Department plans and organizes large scale activities in support of Biodiversity and Chemistry, just to name a few, and the Astronomy Department shares the vast concepts of the Universe during Astronomy Day and special Friday night star gazing events.

Exhibits-to-Go is the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery’s traveling museum. These hands-on exhibit presentations have been developed to be taken to schools, camps and Senior care facilities throughout the Miami Valley and Cincinnati areas.
