The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery presents a unique, fun venue for your special event, wedding and/or reception, corporate meeting, family gathering, holiday or special occasion. Rent the whole museum or just a particular area – it’s up to you.

Experience the spirit of the entire Museum. With room for up to 1750 guests, the Museum is a one-of a-kind venue for your special day. The Museum offers several areas that can accommodate everything from a large wedding reception, to an intimate sit-down dinner or a casual employee cookout. With a full Museum rental, you can treat guests to an amazing journey through the universe with a Planetarium show, or enjoy a Laser Show set to some of your favorite tunes in the Caryl D. Philips Space Theater. You'll have access to permanent exhibits such as Explorers Crossing, the Mead Tree House and the Color Dancing Wall, as well as full access to any traveling exhibit the Museum is featuring. Enjoy the Museum’s “creature feature” with a visit to our residents in the Charles E. Exley, Jr. Wild Ohio.

Play, party and learn among artifacts from our collection of over a million items! Let us provide the entertainment and create additional fun with add-ons such as Wild Ohio live animal presentations, a Planetarium or Laser Show, and/or a Science Central Do Lab and Science Central presentation.

If you are looking for something different, a space that is like no other in the area, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery will excite you and delight you. Every room features a taste of just what the Museum represents – a special, interactive, fun and smart way to invigorate, "fantasticate" and celebrate any occasion.

Prices range from $250 for classrooms to $1,000 for the Space Theater to $2500 for the entire Museum. Special discounted rates are offered to non-profits.
