The Robot Zoo
September 24, 2011-January 9, 2012
Uncover the biomechanics of complex animal robots that reveal how living animals work! Come face to face with larger-than-life-size animated robots, and discover how a chameleon changes colors and a fly walks on the ceiling.
Cutaways expose easily recognized machine parts and gadgets – such as shock absorbers and pumps – that demonstrate how some unique animals move and function, while comparisons to their living counterparts provides fantastic insights into how animals survive in their chosen environments.
The Robot Zoo was created by Evergreen Exhibitions.
